We now have a Facebook Page! Look for Jackson Food Pantry on Facebook to find out the latest Pantry information.
The Jackson Food Pantry distributes food from The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and privately donated food to low income and unemployed households to relieve food insecurity and emergency distress situations. We maintain scheduled days and hours of distribution during the month: The fourth Thursday of each month from 5pm to 7pm for all clients and the Wednesday before from 5pm to 6:30 pm for seniors and disabled clients. Our location is 10 Don Connor Boulevard, in Department of Public Works' building. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Jackson Township for allowing us to use this space.
The Food Pantry is open for Food Distribution once a month on the 4th Thursday of the month for all clients. The Wednesday before the 4th Thursday the Food Pantry distributes to Seniors/Disabled. (See Distribution Schedule).
On Distribution Day, clients are asked not to enter the Public Works parking lot until 4:00pm. Client's sign in will begin at 4:45pm, and Food Distribution will run from 5:00PM - 6:30PM for Senior/Disabled Clients on Wednesdays and 5:00PM - 7:00PM for Regular Thursday Distribution.
If you are in need of emergency food assistance, please call the Food Pantry at 732-833-6800 and leave a message on the designated message line. You may also contact the Food Pantry Director via email.
